Fatima questions Sada, asking why she called for the meeting and if she, too, is going mad like Ua. Sada tells Fatima to be quiet, explaining that she is the one responsible for Buya’s disappearance because she constantly irritated him, stole from him, and ultimately sent goons to kill him because she never loved him. Since she takes great pleasure in Ua’s misfortune, she urges her to “come clean” and reveal her true plans to be Major’s second wife. Sada tells Major to be quiet since she has the final word in the household this time. Major urges her to quit talking so much without providing any evidence. She then plays an audio recording of Fatima berating the thugs for failing to apprehend Maria as “evidence” that she is still at large. Fatima muffs her words as she attempts to explain.
Kaka returns to check on Buya, only to become enraged upon discovering Maria resting on his bed; Buya begs him to cool down, explaining that Maria’s condition is not good after being attacked by some goons and that she needs to get some rest. However, Kaka is worried that the goons will eventually show up at Buya’s house in search of Maria.
Fatima acknowledges Sada’s revelations to be accurate, but she questions if Sada overheard the entire conversation or was attempting to paint her as the antagonist. In addition, she says she sent out a scouting party to locate the girl who was seen with Buya. Major probes Sada about whether she was just making everything up to make Fatima appear bad.
They said she wasn’t trying, so Fatima says she took the initiative to finish what Dida had begun. JJ defends her, saying that he saw her searching for Buya near the area where the police said they last saw his body, but Sada presses her for an explanation, because she and Buya had supposedly already left. Major interrupts her to tell her to quit making a fool of herself.
Fatima claims Buya is her spouse and his disappearance has caused her distress. Sada, however, is unimpressed by her airs of superiority and demands an explanation as to why Dida and Kaka appear to be in an untrue relationship. They all keep quiet after Sada reveals to Major that she wants him to know that Fatima is a snake.
Kaka is getting ready to depart because he needs to make some money, and he tells Buya that Bi. Salama will be passing by with food. Maria returns looking much better, and she expresses a desire to go swimming in order to fulfill a dream she had the night before. Buya is not convinced that this is a good idea, and Kaka agrees with him, saying that he doesn’t believe Maria has fully recovered from the incident that occurred the day before. Kaka agrees to go with her, and they leave.
As Kokan gets ready to go, he takes great pleasure in the women’s beautiful singing as they make their way to Bi. Salama’s.
When Zuu comes out while Sultana is busy washing dishes, Zuu sits on a chair and muses about how, if she could go back in time, she would have done everything in her power to avoid getting involved with Mwanzele. She also recalls how her father warned her against getting married before she was ready because she would be doomed to a lifetime of regret.
When JJ runs meets his dad, he inquires about his mom’s health and is reassured by Major that she is doing OK. When he mentions taking a vacation, JJ says they can’t since he’s too busy thinking about all that needs to be done.
After remembering Sada and Zuu’s warnings against marrying someone she doesn’t love, Sultana vents her anger at the water pump.
JJ states aloud that Dida was right when she said she didn’t want to get back together after he told her it was time to reignite their love. But Sultana, his one true love, is gone.
When Sultana becomes frustrated and keeps pumping water into an overflowing jerrican, luckily Zuu sees her and stops her with a comforting hug.
When Maria and Kaka head out to sea, Kaka is preoccupied with his phone, but Maria is transfixed by the sight of the water. She inquires as to if he is Buya’s son-in-law, whether he is anticipating a call, and if he will tell her more about Dida; nevertheless, Kaka changes the subject and begs her to accomplish what brought them there. Maria explains that Kaka has arrived to plot her next move, but Kaka warns her not to return because doing so puts her life in peril. Despite this warning, Maria insists on asking Kaka how she can possibly survive in such a hostile environment.
Buya doesn’t think the ocean is a great place for Maria to live, but Salama can’t believe Kaka agreed to take her there. Bi is the recipient of her question. Salama to accompany her, as she will not be a burden due to her high level of productivity. When he gets back on his feet, he’ll repay her in full.
Major and Ua are sitting close together when Fatima comes knocking and interrupts their passionate embrace by showing up at their door in a luxurious mansion. Fatima tries to explain that she didn’t say anything since she knows Kaka is simply an opportunist out for their money when they return downstairs. Major tells her there’s no point in trying to reconcile JJ and Dida’s feelings for each other because JJ only married Dida for the money. Fatima tries to convince him that she has made great sacrifices for their marriage. Once Fatima realized Major was trying to manipulate her, she threatened to tell Sada what had happened to their father, but Asiya had overheard the conversation and now knew the truth.
