Babu complains to Mwanzele, saying that he should never see them again if they are going to blame him. Mwanzele reassures him that he and Babu are not the only ones who have flaws. Mwanzele tells Babu that only he has the guts to tell him that he should have married Bi Salama and everything that has transpired after then would not have happened. The tears have spread to Mwanzele and Babu. Since Babu has so much regard for Maneno, he advises Mwanzele to leave his job at Major’s restaurant.
Sada comes knocking on JJ’s door late at night at Major’s residence. J.J. is being stubborn and not starting. Sada walks in and immediately begins to whine about how JJ hasn’t opened. While Sad watches, JJ examines his finger for a ring. Sada assures JJ that everything will be OK once they have worked out their problems with Sultana. After Sada told JJ to leave Bi Salama’s house, JJ accuses her of hypocrisy. He asks Sada why, and Sada explains that it was for his own good, to protect his honor and avoid the wrath of the locals. Sada explains to JJ that he has come to see that Major is the source of the trouble, and not her.
Dida tries to give a call, but no one answers. Fatima comes over and apologizes to Dida for how furious she may get at times. Fatima wants to know from Dida exactly what transpired between her and Kaka that caused JJ to get so enraged. Dida explains to Fatima that she is deeply in love with Kaka and that she will never weary of reminding her about Buya as long as he is in pain.
Sada visits JJ in her room and reveals that she has proof that her father never intended for Major to inherit everything.
Fatima, who has locked herself away, goes to check on Dida and asks whether she still wants to be exposed. When asked about Kaka and JJ, Dida declines to discuss them. Dida informs Fatima that she tried to call her father but couldn’t reach him. When Fatima inquires as to whether or not she has been in touch with Buya, Dida assures her that she needn’t feel bad about keeping in touch with him because unlike Fatima, she hasn’t forgotten about her father. Dida inquires of Fatima as to why Buya inspires such animosity. Dida probes further, inquiring as to whether or not she still loves him. Fatima breaks down in tears. Dida informs Fatima that she has found out where Buya lives and that she plans to leave Major’s house permanently the following day to live with him. She advises Fatima to accept the fact that she cannot have children.
When Mwanzele returns home late at night, he discovers Zuu lounging in the yard. Because Major will never be appreciative, Zuu advises Mwanzele to cease working for him. Zuu reveals to Mwanzele that Kaka was right but nobody believed him. Next, Kaka returns home, where Zuu immediately inquires as to his well-being, pleading with him to tell him what’s wrong. Kaka assures Zuu that his hatred for Major will never end. In a conversation with Kaka, Zuu reveals that she actually means to refer to Dida and not Major. Kaka storms inside the house in a rage.
And yet, Bi Ua hasn’t gotten over her rage, and she’s now trying to feed her doll like a real baby. Asiya has stopped what he was doing and is now staring at her. A call from Asia informs her that the meal is ready and she should begin devouring it immediately. Asia is told by Bi Ua that she is attempting to get the infant to sleep. Asia instructs her to continue working and promises to contact her at a later time.
WRITTEN UPDATE, PART 2: SULTANA CITIZEN TV, NOVEMBER 8, 2022
Asia leaves the room and stands by the door, listening to see if Bi Ua is truly upset. The realization that she is crazy makes her joyful. Suddenly, she bursts out into laughter while simultaneously thanking God for enraging Bi Ua. The next time Sada hears her, she’s reassuring herself that the truth will be out eventually. When Sada enters, he inquires as to the veracity of her claims. Asia is perplexed and unable to continue.
Because Kaka may be heartbroken by Maneno’s death, Zuu begs Mwanzele to go and speak to him at the village. The moment Mwanzele stands up, he notices Kaka walking away with his belongings. Mwanzele presses him on his supposed whereabouts after dark. Kaka assures him that this won’t be his first time spending the night under the stars. Kaka informs Mwanzele he is leaving and will never return since he is continuously trying to drive him out of his home. As Kaka walks away, Mwanzele stumbles and falls. Zuu gives him a glare but does not extend a helping hand.
Sada threatens to tell Major about Asiya’s secret at her house. Asiya implores her to keep quiet. Asia confides in Sada that she plans on facing Major head-on and telling him the truth about Salama’s visit to his home, where she and her family had to leave their luggage. Sada is missing the idea entirely.
Sada is eating breakfast first thing in the morning. Asia is called in by JJ. Asia is located on the second floor, according to Sada. Sada tells JJ she doesn’t give a f@ck about Dida when he asks about her. JJ welcomes the arrival of Asiya and inquires if she has run into Dida and Fatima. Asia speculates that they may have gone for a beach stroll. JJ speculates that the argument from yesterday sparked their ire. When we last saw Dida, she was leaving Major’s house and going out of the compound with her suitcase in tow.
JJ prepares breakfast at home. Asia returns and reports that she and he have searched the entire area, but have been unable to locate Dida and Fatima. They are hypocrites, Sada tells them, so no one should mourn their passing. Sada is admonished by JJ to shut her trap. Sada advises JJ to count his blessings now that the two ticks have disappeared. JJ is instructed to have breakfast by Sada.
Fatima rides up to the front of Buya’s former residence on her bicycle. Dida has already arrived and is looking for Buya. As soon as Dida enters the house, she notices that Buya is missing. She begins to look around, but all she finds are Buya’s bloody shoes on the floor. Fatima follows her to see Buya, so as she arrives she asks Dida where Buya is. Blood on the floor causes Fatima to act concerned. Dida approaches a passing woman and inquires as to whether or not she has come across Buya. The woman says that it had been two days since she last saw Buya. When a woman discovers blood on the floor, she insists that police be called immediately.
