Liverpool welcomed Tottenham Hotspurs in another game of the English Premier League. Tottenham Hotspurs had a good chance to reduce their deficit points with Aston Villa after their 1-0 loss to Brighton & Hove Albion but it was not their day again.
Jurgen Klopp named a very strong team that was really tough to contend against. Mohamed Salah was very lethal in the game and he is the one who opened the score line after getting a good pass from Cody Gakpo.
Andy Robertson then added the second goal just before he half time break. The two teams went for the first half break when the score line was 2-0 in favor of Liverpool.
The second half started on a very high note and Liverpool started it from where they left in the first half. Harvey Elliot gave Cody Gakpo a good pass and he scored a very brilliant goal. Mohamed Elliot then gave Harvey Elliot a good pass and he also scored a goal for himself.
Ange Postecoglou then made quick successive changes and it really helped his time but the only bad thing that happened is that, there was no enough time to execute their new plan.
He substituted Dejan Kulusevski and replaced him with James Maddison, Rodrigo Bentancur with Richarlsion and Emerson Royal with Oliver Skipp and later took off Pape Matar Sarr and replaced him with Giovani Lo Celso.
The substitutes especially Richarlson really performed well and he managed to change the tempo and the momentum of the game. Brennan Johnson gave Richarlison a brilliant pass and he pulled one goal back for Tottenham Hotspurs and continued with his good form against Liverpool.
Richarlsion then gave Son a brilliant pass and the captain scored their second goal. Time was not on their side and therefore their good display was cut short with the full time whistle.
Jurgen Klopp also made some changes in his squad and he substituted Andy Robertson and replaced him with Joe Gomez, Wataru Endo with Stefan Bajcetic, Alexis Mac Allister with Ryan Gravenberch, Luis Diaz with Darwin Nunez and Harvey Elliot with Dominik Szoboszlai. The game ended 4-2 in favor of Liverpool.
