Why Gabriel Jesus is Giving Arsenal Fans Goose Bumps This Season

Gabriel Jesus has started giving Arsenal fans goose bumps after just two games of the new Premier League season. The Brazilian international was expected to be fully fit for this season but that is not the case after the latest news that came from Arsenal’s medical team.

The Medical team stated that, Gabriel Jesus suffered yet another injury and this time it is a groin injury. The medical team is still working around the clock to determine the period that the striker will take out in the sidelines.

Gabriel Jesus has been having a very bad record with injuries at Arsenal.

  • During the 2022/2023 Season, he got a knee injury that made him to be away for 99 days.
  • During the 2023/2024 Season, he got another knee injury that sidelined him for 24 days.

  • He has again got another injury this season, 2024/2025 season and it is yet to be confirmed how long he will stay away.

Gabriel Jesus is always very lethal and he is always a threat to the opponents’ defenders when he is fit. The injury woes will however ruin his career and this means that, he is now not in a very good position to help Arsenal in the Premier League title challenge.

This season is a very tough one and Mikel Arteta needs all his players fit. It should also be noted that, the club has not yet bought another striker who can perform Gabriel Jesus’s role.

Kai Havertz is the one who is currently being used as a striker, despite the fact that he is not a striker.

Many Arsenal fans have urged the club to speed up and buy a new striker who will help the club tow in the Premier League title. According to them, Gabriel Jesus may not have a lot of impact on the team currently because the team can still win without him.
