The Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya, honorable Rigathi Gachagua has admitted that there are a section of people in Kenya who are out and determined to separate them with President William Ruto.
The Deputy President said that they are trying there best to make people believe that they are not in good terms. He spoke these words during a church service that he attended in Nandi. The President was in the Nyanza region at the same time.
The Deputy President also alleged that the people who are speaking of this rift are the same people who lost to them in the last general elections. According to him, they are still in denial and what they are trying to do is to look for faults in the Administration of the Kenya Kwanza government.
He answered the question as to why he is majorly present in Mount Kenya and he said that he wants to consolidate the region for the upcoming 2027 elections. Aside from the Mount Kenya region, honorable Rigathi Gachagua also said that he will also consolidate the Rift Valley which is the backyard of President William Ruto.
One of the ways that he will use to consolidate these voting regions is by reaching out to also the leaders who went to Azimio. He added that he will try his best and bring back all the votes that the Azimio brigade got from those regions.
He also wants to bring them together so that they can have a major win in 2027 that will not make it easy for anybody to dispute the election results.
