The vocal Embakasi East Member of Parliament, honorable Babu Owino has asked the government some tough questions that he seeks to be answered in regards to the death of the Chief of Defense General Francis Ogolla.
These are the tough questions that the Embakasi East Member of Parliament has asked.
- Where was the West Com Commander?
- Where was the Defense Forces Sgt Major?
- Where was the Army Commander?
- Why was a whole CDF using one Helicopter with no 50ACB Helicopter Escort in an operation area?
- Why was he in the company of junior officers only?
- Which rank should fly a Helicopter used by the CDF?
- Who gives parade to CDF in an operation when he is about to inspect his troops?
- How many Helicopters should a CDF use while visiting an operation area?
- Why was he the only one to inspect a school and not his juniors?
- Who should be the next CDF going by the Tonje Rules and who is to Deputize him, will that Deputy be the CDF by 2027?
- Why is General Ogolla dead just after the recent changes in KDF?
These are the tough questions that the Orange Democratic Legislator has asked following the sudden demise of General Francis Ogolla who was the Chief of Defense Forces. He said that the questions should first be answered because the hearts of Kenyans are bleeding and all that they want to know is nothing but the truth.
It is very sad for Kenyans and even the family at large because you can imagine there is his wife who was hoping to see her husband after completing his mission but death has robbed her off her beloved husband.
There is a daughter somewhere like Lorna Ogolla who has lost her beloved father who was her protector and gave her all the things she needed in this life including her prestigious and rich Education background
There is a young man somewhere who has lost a mentor who kept on inspiring him and reminding him constantly that he should be a man and go for what he wants.
There may be a parent somewhere or relatives who were fully depending on him as their soul bread winner but they have now lost him to death and their dreams seem to be shuttered.
There may be his siblings who have lost one of their own blood who they were looking up to in very many things in this world and also in the family matters.
Kenya has lost a great hero and an intellectual whose time was cut short through a plane crash. General Francis Ogolla will be dearly missed because he was a good and upright man.
Many people have eulogized him as a great man and that indeed shows that he was a hero who was admired by many people because of his work ethics. It is very sad that he had to lose his life in line of duty trying to make Kenya a better place to live in.
