Arsenal hosted Burnley at the Emirates stadium for another game of the English Premier League. This looked like an easy game because it was against a team that is lying in the relegation zone and it was promoted this season.
The first half was a very tight one but the Arsenal players were determined to get at least a goal. Leandro Trossard who was the striker of the day did his best and put his body for the sake of the club and he scored a brilliant goal after getting a good pass from Bukayo Saka. This was Arsenal’s 1,000th goal at the Emirates stadium.
The first half ended 1-0 in favor of Arsenal. The second half started on a very high note and the Burnley players also showed how determined they were to get a comeback in the game. Josh Brownhill equalized and put the two teams back on track again.

This motivated the Arsenal players and they capitalized on Leandro Trossard’s brilliant corner kick and William Saliba comfortably headed it in. This boosted the club’s momentum and they continued with their pursuit for another goal.
Leandro Trossard’s corner kick again resulted in another goal that sealed the three points. Oleksandr Zinchenko scored the goal and this gave Arsenal a good margin lead. The drama however did not stop there.
Arsenal got a straight red card and the players were reduced to 10 on the pitch. Fabio Vieira made a clumsy foul and he paid for it. The players were however on course and they defended their 3-1 lead until the last minute.

Fabio Vieira’s red card is a major blow to Arsenal because it has further limited Arsenal’s options in the midfield. There are very many injuries in that position with both Martin Odegaard and Emile Smith Rowe out, this means that Kai Havertz will continue to solely play that role for some time.
Mikel Arteta made a total of four substitutions. He substituted Kai Havertz and replaced him with Fabio Vieira, Bukayo Saka with Reiss Nelson, Leandro Trossard with Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Martinelli with Jakub Kiwior.
Vincent Kompany on the other hand also made four changes. He substituted Zeki Amdouni with Aaron Ramsey, Luca Koleosho with Jacob Bruun Larsen, Josh Brownhill with Michael Obafemi and Vitinho with Wilson Odobert.
The game ended 3-1 in favor of Arsenal and this now means that Mikel Arteta has beaten all the teams that he has faced at the Emirates stadium.
