How Manchester United got Cooked by Timber and Wood in Same Week and Finished in Forest

Manchester United met Nottingham Forest in another thrilling match of the English Premier League at the Old Trafford. This was after the team suffered a 2-0 humiliation at the hands of Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium during the midweek games.

All Arsenal’s goals were from corner kicks and they were scored by Jurrien Timber and William Saliba. It was so ironical that after Timber’s goal, the club was again cooked by Wood of Nottingham Forest.

The game started on a very high note and the Nottingham Forest players did not waste any chance. The visitors scored an early goal just after two minutes. Nikola Milenkovic scored a brilliant goal after he got a good pass from Elliot Anderson.

Rasmus Hojlund then pulled one goal back for the Red Devils. The first half ended 1-1. The second half started on a very high note and Morgan Gibbs White scored the second goal for Nottingham Forest after two minutes into the second half again. He was given the assist by Callum Hudson Odoi.

A few minutes later, the visitors added the third goal and this time it is Morgan Gibbs White who gave Chris Wood a good pass that led to another goal. Manchester United pulled the second goal after Amad Diallo gave Bruno Fernandes a good pass. This was however not enough to give the club any point.

Ruben Amorim made some changes in his squad, he substituted Alejandro Garnacho and replaced him with Marcus Rashford, Matthijs de Ligt with Harry Maguire, Leny Yoro with Noussair Mazraoui, Bruno Fernandes with Mason Mount and Manuel Ugarte with Joshua Zirkzee.

Nuno Espiranto Santo also made some changes in his squad, he substituted Jota Silva and replaced him with Morato, Morgan Gibbs White with Nicolas Dominguez, Chris Wood with Anthony Elanga and Callum Hudson Odoi with Taiwo Awoniyi.

The game ended 3-2 in favor of Nottingham Forest and the visitors got all the three points.
