Written by John Kiama Wambua who was caught by police while on patrol while carrying the body parts of his wife admitted that he indeed butchered his wife and cut her body parts into pieces.
The evidence that was shared at the Milimani Law Courts read that, John Kiama Wambua committed the act after finding his wife with another man, according to his instincts, he thought that his wife was cheating on him with that man.
They had a heated argument and after that, he decided to take the life of his wife in such a brutal manner.
The Milimani Law Courts allowed the police to further detain him for 21 more days so that it can allow the detectives to complete their investigations.
The investigative officers argued that, there are several things that are still pending and that is why they requested for more time to detain him. They said that, they have not even informed the family of Fridah Munani about the incident after successfully identifying her.
They also said that, they have also not yet recorded statements from key witnesses. The statements will highly help in the investigations.

The case though seems like an easy one because the prime suspect, John Kiama Wambua has confessed that he is the one who committed the crime and he did it because he suspected that his 19-year-old wife, Fridah Munani was cheating on him after finding him with another man.
The biggest question now is that, where was he taking the body parts of his wife that early in the morning while parked in the bag. He should also tell the detectives the place where he was taking the body parts.
He should also tell the detectives what he was intending to do with the other body parts which he had kept under the bed.
