List of Arsenal Academy Players Who Have Regretted Their Decision to Leave Arsenal for Greener Pastures

Arsenal is known of producing very good Academy players who can compete in the top flight Leagues and impress at any stage. The Academy boasts of players of the caliber of Bukayo Saka who still plays for Arsenal and Serge Gnabry of Bayern Munich and not forgetting Emile Smith Rowe who just switched to Fulham and he is enjoying more game time there and assisting and scoring goals at the same time.

There are however some impatient Academy players who put money ahead before developing themselves first in the first team so that they can have a high bargaining power. Someone like Emile Smith Rowe made a name for himself and at the point of his departure, Fulham had to break the bank and he was the most expensive player when they acquired his services.

Omari Hutchinson left Arsenal and was lured by Chelsea that he will get first team football. He went there and found out that things were very tough there, the club ended up selling him to Ipswich Town yet his dream was to go and play regularly for one of the top clubs like Chelsea.

Chido Obi Martin was lured by Manchester United and he was promised that, he was going to be a regular starter at Manchester United when Erik ten Hag was still the Manager. He has not even featured for the first team even in the other domestic Cups.

Erik ten Hag is also out of the club and it is not even certain if Ruben Amorim will consider him as one of the players who he wants to involve in his project.

Cozier Duberry left Arsenal and did not want to trust the process. He went to Brighton hoping that he was going to get first team football that Mikel Arteta was not giving to him. He ended up at Blackburn in the Championship and to make matters worse, he is not even a regular starter there.

Charlie Patino also left Arsenal for Greener pastures and went to Deportivo which is in the second division of the Spanish League. He is also a bench warmer just like Reuell Walters who is also warming the bench in the Championship.

Ayden Heaven is the latest Arsenal Academy player to leave and he has gone to join Manchester United. It is still not clear which player he is going to bench in that team for him to get the chance to feature for the first team.

Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis Skelly were as patient as Bukayo Saka and when the opportunity came, they took it with two arms and they have been very brilliant during this season which Arsenal has been rocked by a number or injuries.
