The Narc Party leader, honorable Martha Karua has sent some stern warning to President William Ruto. This is just shortly after news broke out that, the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, honorable Sheikh Hasina resigned from her position.
Honorable Sheikh Hasina, resigned and went to India after several weeks of protests. Reports have indicated that, the protests have left several people dead and others injured.
Honorable Martha Karua went on her X platform, formerly known as Twitter and tagged President William Ruto in that news that was shared by the Standard Digital. She wrote to the Head of State that, he can never win against the people.
This has come at a time when the Kenyan Gen Zs are also demanding for change from the Head of State. They are currently planning for a mega protest that will be held on 8/8/2024.
President William Ruto was forced to reject and drop the Finance Bill 2024 which they thought was punitive and oppressive. Consequently, the Head of the State, also fired his entire Cabinet, except honorable Musalia Mudavadi who is the Prime Cabinet Secretary and the Cabinet Secretary in charge of Foreign Affairs.
Honorable Martha Karua has been a very big critic of President William Ruto and his Kenya Kwanza Administration. She was even forced to leave the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition after Raila Odinga promised to work closely with the Head of State.
This was evident when honorable William Ruto picked four of Raila Odinga’s allies and top officials in the ODM party to be part of his broad based government of National Unity.
This was widely opposed in the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya camp but they were all vetted after all. The other affiliate parties in the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition are still fighting for leadership positions, they have even accused ODM of political greed.
