Major and Fatima enter the club, where they are taken aback by the atmosphere and the sight of another couple dancing to the music at a nearby table. Fatima informs Major that if he had picked her over Ua, they would spend every day laughing and forgetting their troubles.
Asiya becomes concerned when she realizes she doesn’t know what Fatima is using on Major; she then recalls her phone and wonders where he may have put it, fearing repercussions if he learns she’s been in contact with Sada. Asiya thinks Ua is asleep, so she searches the closet and drawers, becomes frustrated, and starts talking to herself; she turns around and is startled to find Ua awake; she tries to explain herself and asks Ua if she knows where Major put her phone; Ua doesn’t answer her and instead starts crying, at which point Asiya confirms Major’s statement that Ua is eviler than Fatima and leaves the room.
Major’s lack of happiness is due, in part, to his decision to name JJ as his successor, and to the fact that his wife is insane, according to Fatima. Major tells her that even if he had chosen her before Buya found her, their relationship would have ended badly because Buya was already in his life. Seeing how loving Buya is to the locals, Fatima adds that she would have given him many children instead of Ua, who has trouble conceiving, but Major reminds her that they went there to relax, so she should let go of her anxieties. Major asks Fatima to excuse him for a moment while he shows off his dance talents on the dance floor; while he’s away, Fatima sneaksily puts some powder in his drink; upon his return, Major grabs Fatima’s hand and they dance together.
Fatima helps him into the house while he staggers and yells, and then she shows him to her room. Asiya notices this and sneaks around behind them to watch them. While Major sleeps, Fatima makes sure he is completely unconscious before she takes out some papers from her drawer and places them in an envelope. Asiya, curious as to what papers Fatima was trying to get Major to sign, sneezes and rushes for cover, startling Fatima. Fatima exits the bathroom to find Buya and Dida already there; she demands to know what they were doing there and how they learned of the new house; Dida asks her whether that was always the plan after she failed to force her love with JJ.
Fatima tries to defend herself, but Buya warns her not to take them for a fool because she plotted to make him suffer and also to get rid of him so that she can be with Major. Dida elaborates by saying that Fatima, who is used to a privileged lifestyle, will do anything to maintain it, and that they will soon learn that Major is dead. Fatima wakes up from the nightmare to find Major lying on the bed, covered in blood, with her hand holding a knife streaming with blood. She begins to cry, but Dida tells her to save the crocodile tears since people like her deserve to die.
Dida is talking to her father, Buya, who asks her to drop the topic because he doesn’t want anything concerning Fatima, but Dida insists because she doesn’t understand how her own mother could send thugs to beat him up and leave him in a state of paralysis; Dida decides to let it go, and she asks Buya whether he truly loved her mother, but Buya remains silent and he asks her to drop the topic because he is fighting a bigger He orders her to track down Maria and rescue her before Fatima can get to her.
Major, hung over from the night before, is taken aback when Fatima enters his room with breakfast. She sits down next to him and tells him that he shouldn’t be surprised that he slept in her room because they had a great time together the night before. When Major expresses confusion, Fatima explains that they were too drunk to go back to his room, and she didn’t want to spend the day alone.
