PART 1
Bi. At dinner with Salama and her daughters, Maria explains that she’s fine with Buya leaving her and tells them that Dida arrived to pick up Buya and Kaka, shocking Sultana. Salama declares she is ready to die protecting her daughters and will never allow what occurred that day to happen again.
Amina invites Kaka over to her house, where Kaka is awestruck by its beauty.
A sudden pain in her stomach causes Sultana to lie down groaning in anguish as she wonders if JJ was the one who dispatched Dida to come pick up Buya and Kaka.
Asiya packs her belongings into the same suitcase Fatima will use. Ua is dozing off on the couch, clutching the paper to her chest, while Major sits on the other seat, hip flask in hand.
JJ takes a walk near the ocean while he is really intoxicated.
The two argue over the paper, and Major tries to take it from Ua, but she only grips it more tightly.
JJ continues to drink heavily while he sobs and sits under the rock.
Afraid and shivering, Sultana yells out in pain.
The following day, a sand-covered JJ finds himself near the ocean and, after swiping his phone, sees a photo of himself with Sultana, prompting him to vent his rage on a bottle.
PART TWO
When JJ told Major the DNA results, he and Bi were in disbelief. After Salama admits what happened after JJ’s delivery, he picks up the frame and hurls it on the ground.
Amina apologizes to Kaka for waking him awake while she works on some dough; she knows he is still exhausted from his journey. Kaka offers to assist Amina.
Sultana’s high fever has Bi Salama and Maria worried, so the young girl explains to her mother that she’s feeling weak but that her stomach has calmed down after using the bathroom.
Fatima, out with her suitcase, says that despite being kicked out, she will leave in style. She stops, however, when she sees Asiya leaving with her suitcase as well, and she makes fun of her. Asiya, in turn, makes Fatima feel bad because she thought she would reign. Fatima tries to fight Asiya, but Major steps in to make it clear that no one was being kicked out. As he helps Bi. Ua down the stairs, he says sorry for wronging her and that they may start over. Fatima experiences feelings of envy and makes an effort to control her emotions.
Amina returns to the country to explain why she left her life in the city when she was told there was a man prepared to marry her but the wedding did not take place because it appeared the man was being coerced, which makes Kaka feel bad for bringing him up.
Fatima steps aside to call Dida, but Dida has turned off her phone because she realizes this is a once-in-a-lifetime chance for a fresh start.
Bi. Salama becomes concerned since Saada hasn’t yet arrived at her house, but Saada is there in a flash, and the two stand there gaping at one another.
