Arsenal welcomed Manchester City in another much awaited game of the English Premier League. Mikel Arteta started a very strong team just as Pep Guardiola. Arsenal got the first goal in the opening minutes of the game just after 2 minutes.
Martin Odegaard scored a brilliant goal after getting a quality pass from Kai Havertz. The goal stood until the end of the first half. The second half started on a very high note and Manchester City equalized through Erling Haaland after he was given a good pass by Savinho. This almost looked like the end of the road for Arsenal but Thomas Partey had a different thinking.
The Ghanaian international player scored the second goal for Arsenal just after 105 seconds after Erling Haaland’s equalizer. This is the goal that opened the gates of the goals for Arsenal.
Declan Rice gave Myles Lewis-Skelly a brilliant pass and the 18-year-old player scored his first Premier League goal. He was greatly appreciated by his teammates and also the fans because he has grown to be a fans favorite.
Pep Guardiola substituted Phil Foden who did not get the opportunity to score even a single goal in his five appearances in the Premier League this season consecutively. He was replaced by James McAtee and Omar Marmoush with Kevin De Bruyne.
Moments after making those substitutions, Gabriel Martinelli gave Kai Havertz a brilliant pass and the German international player scored a goal and compensated the chance that he had lost in the first half.
Mikel Arteta also went ahead and made some substitutions, he substituted Leandro Trossard and replaced him with Ethan Nwaneri, Martin Odegaard with Mikel Merino, Myles Lewis-Skelly with Riccardo Calafiori and Kai Havertz with Raheem Sterling.
Declan Rice then gave Ethan Nwaneri another pass and the 17-year-old player scored the fifth goal for the Gunners. This was a very good game for the two Academy graduates, that is Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri. The game ended 5-1 in favor of Arsenal.
