Arsenal Regret Drawing 1-1 to Everton as Liverpool Drop 3 Points Against Fulham

Arsenal will blame itself for not narrowing the gap against the League leaders, Liverpool by not securing three points against Everton. The Gunners were in total control of the game but dropped two crucial points in the second half of the game.

Arsenal really controlled the game and had a lot of chances that were missed. The introduction of Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli still did not have any effect in the game. The game ended in a 1-1 draw.

Liverpool on the other hand, suffered a major blow and lost three crucial points despite the fact that they are the ones who scored first. Ryan Gravenberch gave Alexis Mac Allister a good pass and the Argentine international player scored the opening goal of the game.

Fulham then answered the blow with three quick successive goals from Ryan Sessegnon, Alex Iwobi and Rodrigo Muniz. Fulham scored all the three goals in the first half. Liverpool tried their best to even get a draw but all that they could achieve was just another goal from Luis Diaz who got an assist from Conor Bradley.

If Arsenal could have done their part and won the game, then the difference between Liverpool and Arsenal could have just been nine points. These are very few points because they are just three games.

Arsenal could have also made sure that they win their remaining match against Liverpool so that they can even further narrow down the points. The difference between the two clubs is now 11 points which seem to be so much because Arsenal too did not take its chances very well.

There is a lot of regret in the Arsenal camp right now because they failed to deliver when they were needed to deliver. This is the point and time when they need to win all their matches and hope that Liverpool will stumble and lose some of its matches and also draw some of its matches.
