Gachagua Sends Heart Warming Message to Supporters After Being Snubbed in Embu Event

The former Deputy President found himself for the first time in the same event with President William Ruto, his successor, Professor Kithure Kindiki and the former President, honorable Uhuru Kenyatta.

This was the first time that all the leaders were meeting together after the impeachment of honorable Rigathi Gachagua. Surprisingly enough, the former Deputy President was sitting at another tent and not the one that was occupied by the other dignitaries.

He also attended the ordination and installation of Rev. Peter Kimani as the Bishop of Embu Diocese. He did not however greet his former ally, President William Ruto and this showed that the love is indeed a broken relationship.

All the notable leaders were given the opportunity to speak but the former Deputy President did not have the chance to rise to the occasion. He had hinted some few weeks ago that people from the Mount Kenya region always seem to take a low profile whenever they feel that they are wronged.

When he was acknowledged in the presence of the crowd, the people cheered him up and this shows how he still controls the ground despite the fact that he was snubbed.

After the event, honorable Rigathi Gachagua wrote a hear warming message in his social media platforms. He thanked the residents of Embu County for the love and the warm reception that they gave him. He also shared a video of how he was warmly welcomed by the residents of Embu County.

President William Ruto also did not recognize the presence of his former Deputy, honorable Rigathi Gachagua. He focused more on his speech which was sometimes interrupted by the crowd because they did not agree with him on matters like the Social Health Authority (SHA).
