Kenyatta University has finally opened the application for the December Graduation ceremony. This will be the 50th graduation ceremony after the 49th graduation ceremony which was done on 23rd July 2021. This is good news to all the students who have already completed their studies but have not yet graduated.
The University Management announced this through its official social media pages. The application will be opened until 5th November 2021. This will be the deadline. All the students who have merited and finished all their units are required to register as they wait for the list that will be generated after the deadline of the application.
The students should not be worried about the payment while applying because the payment is only initiated after the final list has been released. The students should therefore not panic but just apply as they hope that they will be in the provisional lists that will be released.
There will be two or more provisional lists which will be released before the final list. The final one is the one which will be used during the graduation ceremony. The last graduands paid a total of 6,000 shillings for the virtual graduation ceremony.
It is also believed that the 50th graduation ceremony will be a virtual one owing to the fact that public gatherings are still restricted in the country. A graduation ceremony always has very many people and it may not be possible to conduct a physical one because of the aspect of the social distancing rule as stipulated by the Ministry of Health guidelines.
