Good News to Teachers, Parents and Students as Education CS Machogu Gives This New Directive

The Cabinet Secretary of Education Professor Ezekiel Machogu has delivered some good news to parents, teachers and students in the latest directive that he has issued to the school even as the schools begin a new calendar year.

He said that the government will not allow the students to report to school early and attend the morning dawns and also extend their studies throughout the night for the night preps yet the things that they are being taught can be covered within the stipulated timelines.

“As we resume our normal education calendar, it is clearly stipulated in the curriculum that learning begins at 8am and ends at 3.45pm. We are subjecting our learners to unnecessary struggles by waking them at 4 am to attend lessons in schools by 6am.” Said Education Cabinet Sectretary.

This is good news to the parents because they have been complaining a lot because of the rigorous learning process that their children have been undergoing. Majority of them have also complained a lot because of the time that the students leave home and the time that they return from school.

This brought a lot of debate in regards to the safety of the students especially those who are not in boarding schools. Even those who were in boarding schools used to complain to their parents because they hardly get enough time to sleep and time to have their private and personal studies. This is indeed good news to the parents because their cry has finally been heard.

This is also good news to the students because they were being subjected to waking up very early in the morning and also learning late through the night. They will now get enough time to reflect and also get time to revise on their own.

It is also good news to the teachers because they will also get some time to teach within the stipulated time and deliver fully. This will also help them to leave their homes at a good time and also come back on time so that they can also focus on their families and other businesses that they may have.
