Martin Odegaard Finally Speaks Out, Gives Update on his Injury, Admits how Scared he was

Arsenal’s captain, Martin Odegaard has finally spoken out after the serious injury that he got while on duty away with his National team Norway against Austria. He has also admitted how it felt when he got the scary injury.

He wrote that, the injury that he got was very unfortunate. He also admitted that the injury could have been even worse than it is now. Martin Odegaard said that it was not a nice twist and when he felt that it could really be serious.

The Norwegian Captain stated that, he has injured his ankle before and the pain was not the same. He said that, the pain that he felt really scared him. He also said that the first thing that he asked the doctor just like any other player is how long the injury was going to take.

Martin Odegaard’s injury has really affected Arsenal in some way because the creativity of the team has really gone down. The players have however shown their resilience and they have stepped up and covered for him in as much as they may not be up to his standards.

The players have found a way to deal with the situation and currently Leandro Trossard and Ethan Nwaneri are performing his roles. The players also miss his leadership skills because he is their club captain and he has been doing a fantastic job ever since he was given that responsibility.

Many rival fans thought that Arsenal was not going to cope with the absence of Martin Odegaard but they were wrong about it. Arsenal have not yet been defeated this season and even without Martin Odegaard, they beat their rivals Tottenham Hotspurs in the North London Derby and also held Manchester City to a 2-2 draw at the Etihad Stadium with only ten men on the pitch after Leandro Trossard was sent off.
