A University student has again lost her life in what is again in a relation to a love triangle. The lady jumped from the third floor of their residence where she was staying with his boyfriend. This is after finding a strange text in her boyfriend’s phone.
The Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology student found a message which read “Kujia vitu babe,” which is loosely translated as, “come for things my love.” It seems that she quickly concluded that her boyfriend was cheating on her and she decided that the best thing to do was to jump from third floor to ground floor.
She however did not make it alive because she lost her life on the spot. The act was not a wise decision because she had the option of quitting the relationship if she found enough evidence that her boyfriend was indeed cheating on her.
It is not a wise decision to die for love, this is because, the person who you are dying for will probably heal after some time and will look for another companion who will replace you after the mourning period is over.
The other thing that is contributing to such is the mental health problems that people are currently facing. It can really be devastating because it comes with very poor decisions that are regrettable at the end.
The JKUAT student has now lost her life and she has left the boyfriend behind, the boyfriend will probably move on because it is obvious that he is also still young because he was also a comrade.
She could have quietly walked out of the relationship so that he could leave the boyfriend with the lady, such that, if he was indeed cheating, then he can have all the time in the world to cheat with his partner.
