Kisumu Man Storms a Party in Otonglo, Kills Girlfriend with a Panga

Emily Akoth left her parents’ home in Riat and attended a party that was held by a friend in Otonglo. She was a fresh graduate from Rotary College in Kisumu with a lot of ambitions. A night that was meant to be a joyful one turned into a chaotic one.

Witnesses said that, Emily Akoth’s boyfriend stormed the house where the party was being held and he did the unthinkable. He entered the house with a panga and took the life of Emily Akoth and then ran away. Her friends were terrified and the best thing that they could do was to scamper for safety as they called for help.

Police officers visited the house of the boyfriend and they found a blood stained panga under the bed in his house in Kisumu West. The burial of Emily Akoth has been slated for 17th October 2025 but the family says that, they cannot burry Emily Akoth before the boyfriend is found and apprehended.

It is very sad indeed that nowadays people can just butcher each other for no reason. Nobody still knows why the boyfriend of Emily Akoth decided to take the life of the young and fresh graduate. The lady had ambitions and dreams to achieve.

Her parents also had great visions with her and the investment that they put in her education was soon going to start bearing fruit, but was cut short by someone whose ill intentions are not known.

He is now at large but wherever he is, he is not at peace at all. He should also know that the arm of the law is so large and it will soon catch up with him at his hiding place.

If at all he didn’t like the fact that his girlfriend went for a friends’ party, he should have just had a candid talk with her as opposed to turning violent and taking her life.
