The Saboti Member of Parliament, honorable Caleb Hamisi has sent a stern and strong warning to members of Parliament from the opposition wing to stop speaking to Kenyans with a lot of arrogance while addressing them in public.
He added that, his colleagues from the opposition may be reaping big from the current Kenya Kwanza government as individuals, but they should remember how far they have come while in opposition and the blood and the sweat that the opposition supporters have endured.
He said that, the blood and the sweat that the supporters have endured goes beyond their life in politics. Most of the members of Parliament from the opposition wing and especially those from the Orange Democratic Movement, ODM are currently supporting the government in most of the things.
Their good working relationship started when President William Ruto started to work with the former Prime Minister, honorable Raila Odinga after the formation of the broad-based government.
The two Principals have been in a very good working relationship and President William Ruto has poured out resources to make sure that honorable Raila Odinga’s campaigns for the AUC Chairman position is running smooth.
He has also in several occasions campaigned for the former Prime Minister so that he can get that position.
The opposition Members of Parliament also played a big role in the impeachment of the former Deputy President, honorable Rigathi Gachagua. Without their support, the former Deputy President could have not been impeached because of lack of numbers that were needed to impeach him.
