Schedule for Collection of Kenyatta University Certificates for the 56th Graduation Graduates

The Kenyatta Univesity 56th Graduation graduates can now all smile as their graduation certificates are ready. The University Management has come up with a schedule that will make the process of collecting the Certificates easy and seamless.

The following is the schedule for the collection of the Certificates:

20th January 2025 to 29th January 2025

  • All the PhD’s
  • All International Students
  • School of Business, Economics and Tourism
  • School of Law, Arts and Social Sciences

30th January 2025 to 6th February 2025

  • School of Health Sciences
  • School of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences
  • School of Pure and Applied Sciences
  • School of Engineering and Architecture

7th February and 13th February 2025

  • School of Education and Lifelong Learning.

The Graduates should kindly note that, they will find the exact date that they are required to pick their certificates in the official website of the University.

There are points that one need to know before going to collect the Certificate. Each graduate is expected to fully clear online with the University in order to collect the Certificate, each graduate is expected to submit two printed online clearance forms at Room 128.

The University will also strictly observe the crowding protocols because there have been huge queues in the past when other graduates were collecting their certificates. The University will also charge a storage fee of 1200 per year for any Certificate that will not be collected on time. This will however start to county after 31st December 2025.

The other graduates who also graduated prior to December 2024 are also encouraged to collect the Certificates as soon as possible so as to avoid the accumulation of the storage fees.

During the December 13th 2024 Graduation Ceremony, the University conferred 57 Doctorates, 451 Masters Degrees, 4760 Bachelor’s Degrees, 276 Diplomas, 46 Postgraduate Diplomas and 26 Certificates.

The Acting Vice Chancellor Professor Waceke Wanjohi stated that, they managed to graduate their first cohort of the Competency Based Curriculum and the University Management is very happy for the milestone that they have achieved so far as much as matters of Education are concerned.
