Arsenal Players Injury List and Their Return Dates

Arsenal enjoyed the previous two seasons without any major injury concerns. This made the club to successfully challenge Manchester City in the past two seasons and the club finished position two in the Premier League table in both occasions.

This season has however been very difficult, the club has however tried despite all the challenged and the club is still very much into the title race. The club is currently missing some of the most important players due to injury.

The following is the list of the Arsenal players who are currently injured and their date of return to action:

Gabriel Jesus

The Brazilian international is the latest casualty of Arsenal’s woes. He got injured in the FA Cup tie against Manchester United. He has a cruciate ligament injury. The bad news is that, his season is already over and he will just return after the season.

Bukayo Saka

Bukayo Saka’s injury is the one that has hit Arsenal the most. He suffered from hamstring strain. He has been the engine of the team and the team has really suffered in his absence. His injury has proven why he is always being named the player of the season every now and then.

Bukayo Saka’s injury has also weakened Martin Odegaard’s performance. He used to compliment him and now it is very much evident the way the captain is performing. His date of return is still not very certain but he is recovering well.

Ben White

Ben White’s injury has also exposed Arsenal greatly this season. He suffered from a knee injury but his return is imminent.  His consistency was very key at the right back position. He is sometimes missed because Jurrien Timber is also injury prone and cannot play so many games consistently.

He is expected to return late January. He was spotted training with ahead of the North London Derby against Tottenham Hotspurs.

Riccardo Calafiori

The Italian international player has already proven to the club that he is yes a good player but cannot be relied on. He has been on and off the pitch ever since he was bought by the club. He is too injury prone and that is not good for the sustainability of the club. His case is almost similar to that of Kieran Tierney’s. He suffered from a muscle injury and his return date is still unknown.

Ethan Nwaneri

Ethan Nwaneri has had a good Premier League debut but his success was cut short with the injury that he sustained. He is a good player and when fit, he can really help the team by shaking up the defence of the opponent teams. He also suffered from a muscle injury and his return date is still not certain.

Takehiro Tomiyasu

Takehiro Tomiyasu also suffered a knee injury and his return date is still not known. He has never settled well at the club ever since he was purchased. He is a very versatile player but the only problem is that, he is never there with his versatility when needed because he is always injured most of the time.
