The Manager of Arsenal, Mikel Arteta has broken the hearts of many Arsenal fans after his response on whether he will sign forward players in January in order to solve the creativity issue at the club.
He said that, he fully trusts the squad and his players. He also added that he is satisfied with the amount that they generate in the match and how little they concede.
His sentiments are an indication that he is not willing to make any signing in January despite the fact that Arsenal really struggling because of lack of a proper striker. The issue is not entirely a creator because Martin Odegaard is really trying and the only thing that he is lacking is a prolific striker.
It is very evident that Arsenal can’t win anything without having a proper striker. It is high time that Mikel Arteta should think twice and realize that Arsenal missed the Premier League title in two consecutive seasons because of lack of a proper striker.
His stubbornness may cause the club again to miss on major trophies. Many fans have started not having faith in him because he has been in the club for five seasons and he needs to prove his stay by winning major trophies such as the Premier League title.
Arsenal really needs a good striker who can elevate the club to greater heights. Arsenal is over relying on Bukayo Saka to create chances and also to score goals for the club. He needs someone who will uplift him and give him the support.
Gabriel Martinelli also needs someone who will give him stiff competition so that he can once again re-ignite his brilliant performance. His game has really gone down and it is high time that he needs a good competitor who will challenge him to do better.
